At the age of 16, Trevor got his first assignment for supplying animals for the purpose
of film, which was working with a couple of snakes and cockroaches to be dressed
on a nude for the film Satan's Slaves.
His grandfather was the last gamekeeper in Chalfont St. Peter. Trevor later took
a similar position at Windsor Safari Park, with close contact with the Killer Whale
Trevor and his team are now in huge demand every day of the year providing animals
of all shapes and sizes for the film and TV industry. His company “Animals work”
supplies animals all over the world.
Founder of the Thames and Chiltern Herpetological Group, Trevor has written various
children's books. He is also concerned with the deteriorating wild places around
the world and his views have been well documented in various magazines, TV shows
Trevor's secret is that as an animal psychologist he understands both what the animal
will do as part of their natural abilities as well as when animals are comfortable
with what's asked of them in studio conditions.
Trevor has also starred in a thirteen part documentary "Wild Thing" which has followed
him and his Animal Woks Team around the world. The series has been seen across most
European countries and was transmitted on the Animal Planet TV channel, and is currently
working on series 2 as well as other projects.
